Automating Default Audio Configurations on a Mac

Usually, tools like WebEx, BBB, Zoom, etc. tend to use the system’s default audio settings. This is nice if you use the same audio devices all the time. But, if you use different audio devices at home, in the office, or when traveling, you have to manually adjust the default audio settings often. (Or worse: you forgot to set the default settings and must adjust the audio settings in the conference tool for each call…) This repeated switching between configurations is annoying and time consuming. Dockerized HedgeDoc on a Raspberry Pi

HedgeDoc is a Web application that provides a collaborative notepad. Things like an online family notepad to write grocery lists or plan the next trip can be realized. Shokupan - Japanese Milk Bread

I believe, Shokupan is traditionally used by the Japanese to make very, very, soft, spongy sandwiches. That is not to my taste. I personally like to cut this bread into thick slices and throw it into the toaster. The result is a very crisp slice of bread with a very soft buttery, milky inside. Besides being the best toast bread recipe I know, Shokupan is probably one of the most simple to make bread you can imagine. Dockerized Nextcloud on Raspberry Pi

Since 2010, I guess, I run Owncloud and later Nextcloud on different small “servers” in my home network. Recently, I had the impression that my instance, which I updated/upgraded many times, got a bit bloated and some things simply did not work correctly anymore. The other day I decided that it is time to setup up a new instance from scratch. Full Feed For Hugo Blogs

A subscriber of my blog (most probably the only one :D) recently made me aware that it won’t deliver a full RSS feed. I looked into this matter and found this highly helpful Hugo helpfile hidden somewhere in the Hugo the documentation (please note the slight irony).
